MEET ROHAMA
As a South Asian woman and former international student, I understand what it can feel like to navigate the complexities of identity, belonging, and finding your place in a new environment. My own experience adjusting to life in Canada shaped the way I approach therapy — with curiosity, compassion, and an understanding that mental health is influenced by culture, relationships, family expectations, and lived experience.
At Afloat Psychotherapy, I provide a space where you do not have to minimize your experiences or explain every cultural nuance before feeling understood. Together, we explore your challenges, recognize your strengths, and develop strategies that support the life you want to create.
